"Hectic for Tourists and Locals"

While I-Drive has a selection of shops unmatched in Central Florida, the sheer number of tourists makes this road extremely hectic. If you are visiting Orlando, you will definitely want to travel down this road several times to make sure you catch everything. Dining and Shopping opportunities are abundant and attractions are conveniently laid out along the strip, with hotels popping up every intersection or so as well. It is most busy during the weekends; Saturday mornings and afternoons, as well as around 4-6 during weekdays.

For the Florida resident, this road should be avoided and only used to travel to outlet shops, restaurants, and theme parks/attractions.

"The place to be!"

International drive is the MOST popular street in Orlando. Anything you are looking for is here. You can find MANY tattoo shops, diners, restaurants, bars, shops of all kinds and many of the main attractions of Orlando. Your trip to Orlando is not complete if you don’t visit someplace on International Dr.

"Busy street with lots to do and lots to be stolen from you"

International Drive is one of the best known streets in the areas. For locals like myself, it is an area to be avoided. For tourists, it is a place to flock to. With Wet ‘n’ Wild, Universal Studios and unlimited shopping and restaurants, this is a good place to visit. However, keep your car doors locked and your purse close by. This area is known by locals to have crime problems as criminals know they can steal from a tourist who will not return for the trial, therefore letting them go because of the lack of a witness. There are some nicer areas of International Drive, but I would encourage you to call the Sheriff’s Office and ask about hotels before you book your stay. Also, beware that it will take you about a half an hour to go a mile throughout most of the day.

"Popular Tourist Streett"

Most popular street in Orlando that is always congested with car and pedestrian traffic. If you want to visit this street, it is best to park and walk up and down the street, as it well move you faster than in the car. There are tons of stores and places to eat. Wet n wild calls this street home as well as the huge prime outlets and Festival bay mall, which is a bit run-down. There are also plenty of hotels and this street is just a hop and a skip away from Universal Studios. Lots sand lots of people on this road at all times of the day and night, including a lot of tourists.
