"Noisy, Busy, but Cheap"

The communities along this road are cheap, but each has its own quirks. A lack of activities in the area has lead to youths turning to petty crime; burglaries and vandalism is relatively-commonplace, not to mention noise coming from neighbors and passing cars. There are several strip malls dotting the road, with affordable grocery shopping as well as barber shops and bars/restaurants. Public transportation is present, but few and far between. Bus-riders will definitely need a pair of walking shoes to be able to catch the bus, many run only once an hour. Cheap prices, but many caveats.

"Peace and Quiet?"

This road is hardly used by even the residents in the community, only to go in and leave. Unfortunately petty crime and noise from passing cars are prevalent, even with the ample lighting provided on the street. Housing in the area is cheap, but you get what you pay for. Public transportation is present, but bus-riders will still need to do a bit of walking to catch their bus. The street is within walking distance to a grocery store, as well as a strip-mall with one or two bars and restaurants. More urban than suburban, you get what you pay for.

"Secluded and Suburban"

This area is extremely secluded, with only large communities dotting along the way. Due to the lack of activities in the area, many young teens turn to crime. Vandalism and burglaries are rather commonplace and should be taken into account when looking for a home in the area. Public transportation is present, but few and far-between. Great for training teens to drive, but not much else.

"Improving, Slowly but Surely"

This street has definitely seen better days but is being improved bit by bit. Construction has slowed down in this area, but it is still difficult to get around at times. It is moderately busy, only becoming even somewhat congested during morning and evening Rush Hours. Bars, clubs, and other nightlife are within walking distance and offer a decent array of choices for most tastes. There are numerous parking garages in the area, which are expected to fill up when the movie theater Downtown is finished.

"Hectic for Tourists and Locals"

While I-Drive has a selection of shops unmatched in Central Florida, the sheer number of tourists makes this road extremely hectic. If you are visiting Orlando, you will definitely want to travel down this road several times to make sure you catch everything. Dining and Shopping opportunities are abundant and attractions are conveniently laid out along the strip, with hotels popping up every intersection or so as well. It is most busy during the weekends; Saturday mornings and afternoons, as well as around 4-6 during weekdays.

For the Florida resident, this road should be avoided and only used to travel to outlet shops, restaurants, and theme parks/attractions.

"Surprisingly Pleasant with the Odd Bus or Two"

Because of this road's proximity to the Lynx Bus Central Station, this road can often get clogged with buses and people darting into the street to catch them, particularly from the hours of 4 to 6. Aside from those times, it is mostly pleasant, surprising considering its proximity to City Hall and Lake Eola. It is well-maintained and driving through it is a breeze.

"Mostly Busy, with Construction"

A good number of people use this road to get to and from work so it is hard to even get a word in here edge-wise. The pace is fast and gets lightly clogged from time to time. Construction is usually going on at any time of the day, so prepare for further delays. Accidents are also frequent due to the number of intersections going along this road.

"Great Place for Young Snowbirds Looking to Rent"

This road is moderately busy and runs through the increasing number of residential communities for miles. It is secluded enough to teach a teen how to drive or just to relax from the hectic highway traffic coming from the airport.

Because of its proximity to SR 436, there are many places to eat and drink with moderate prices, and also has Pre-K-12 schooling available within 10 miles, as well as day care services and grocery stores. It is a great place for younger people looking to get a good apartment in Orlando at a decent price.
