Whats the best thing to do in Sleepy Hollow?

Sleepy Hollow is amazing in the fall, with a full menu of Halloween tricks and treats. There is the Horseman's Hollow which celebrates the tale of the Legend of Sleepy Hollow and old Ichabod Crane. Visitors walk through a haunted trail where creatures lurk in the shadows and special effects send shivers up your spine. Or, buckle up for the annual Sleepy Hollow Haunted Hayride that takes you from the liveliness of the streets through to the dark and desolate woods. You can almost hear the Headless Horseman galloping by. Not too far from Sleepy Hollow, just up the road in Croton-on-Hudson, is the Great Jack O'Lantern Blaze that features over 4,000 (yes, over four thousand!) hand-carved, illuminated pumpkins. Visitors walk through Van Cortlandt Manor's grounds completely mesmerized, at least I was. Check out dates/times and ticket purchase information at www.hudsonvalley.org because these events sell out well in advance.
