What is your favorite thing about living in Lunada Bay, Palos Verdes Estates?

I have lived in Lunada Bay for over 30 years and raised 3 boys here. My favorite things about Lunada Bay include:

1) The people here are wonderful. They are friendly and outgoing
2) The streets in most of Lunada Bay are flat and are wonderful for walking and strolling
3) The Lunada Bay Plaza, our local shopping center , although small has everything you need without leaving the neighborhood. We have 5 wonderful restaurants ( PV Grill, Alfredo Garcias, Black Bamboo, Rafaellos, and St. Honore ), 2 liquor stores, several barber shops and beauty parlors, dress shops, a wonderful hardware store, and more.
4) Our Lunada Bay park right next to the Lunada Bay Plaza shopping center holds many community events such as summer concerts, fall harvest festival, Christmas with Santa, and more.
5) For those families with children , the homes in Lunada Bay are within walking or biking distance to 3 local schools including Lunada Bay Elementary, Palos Verdes Intermediate , and Palos Verdes High. No other community on the Peninsula can say the same thing.
6) We can enjoy Lunada Bay itself as well as other fantastic cliff side view locations that have unsurpassed ocean and Catalina Views.
7) Our local little league, Lunada Bay Little League, has wonderful facilities and is wonderful for our local families.
8) The homes have varying architectural styles including Spanish, ranch, French Normandy, Tuscan , Cape Cod, and more.
9) We have an active homeowners association that has done some wonderful things for the neighborhood
10) We are an extremely safe neighborhood with a very active Neighborhood Watch program where our neighbors watch out for each other.
