F St
"The word barren comes to mind...."
There is absolutely nothing here. The street is very small and not well taken care of. Hopefully, something will be built here soon because as of right now it offers nothing.
I St
"Just an Industrial area...."
I st. is just a street that leads to factories and not much else. Although I would say this would be a prime place to locate a job if you are in need of work because of the many places around that could hire you.
Hugo St
"Nice wooded residential area..."
Hugo st. is very small street that dead ends on my side of it but it seems like a good place to live for anyone who lives there. It gives you a taste of the country while you are still in the city because of the many trees in the area.
Bert Murphy Ave South
"Right beside the stadium...."
This is just basically a stadium access rd. that leads to either 10th st. or 13th st. It mostly just gives access to parking spaces just to get into the stadium. Other than that it does not have much use.
Phelps St
"Sorry this is not where Michael Phelps lives but..."
It is still a very nice little street to live on and also has a nice view of Rosenblatt stadium. This would be the perfect street for a baseball fan to live on because they could easily go to just about every game played each season.
Webster St
"Main St. is back...."
This is pretty much the closest you can get to the good ole main st. You can easily walk to anywhere you would want to go and the street offers plenty of activities to do on your weekend. Food, Shops, Clubs, etc... this street has it.
South 10th St
"Lots to do on 10th st...."
So do you wanna watch a baseball game or go to the zoo? These are some questions you may want to ask yourself when traveling down 10th street because you could easily make a day out of going to both if you wanted too.
Farnam St
"A Christmas Persons Dream Street...."
Although for most of the year Farnum St. is just an ordinary st. just like any other it changes during the holdiday season and has the Holiday Lights Festival which features some of the most beautiful and breathtaking light displays you could imagine.
Abbey St
"Very nice little st...."
This is a very nice neigborhood and one that if I could I would live on. Also it is not far from Mission San Fransisco de Asis which kind of gives you a feeling of safety because it is so near. Just a very nice place all around.
Alert Aly
"Alert Alert....very small"
Well other than having a really interesting and almost ominous name Alert Alley does not offer much except a quick shortcut between Dolores St. and Landers St.
Germania St
"2 whole blocks of well houses...."
What can I say about Germania St. other than the fact that it is just a residential area where people live. Its a nice neighborhood though and you can reach stores pretty easily from it so other than that not too much to say.
Jessie St
"Do you love to shop?"
Well than Jessie St. will lead you right to the San Fransico Shopping Center. Where well if you are a mall rat you can find just about anything you want from food, clothes, electronics, etc... Also it is a pretty nice place to visit.
Antonio St
"No Bandera's here just Antonio St."
Antonio St. is just a very small residential street that does not offer much but a place to live. It would be a more middle class area than anything but thats not saying its a bad street. If someone were to decide to live here I would like to think that they would be happy with their choice.
Shannon St
"Small road but quaint..."
Shannon rd. is not to bad of a place. I could easily see someone living on the street and plus it is not far from anything that someone would need which makes it good because you never have to travel far for food, drinks, etc...
Drumm St
"Near the bay...."
Drumm st. is located pretty close to the bay area and it also features Embarcadero Plaza which is a nice place to see. The architecture of the buildings in the area are nice and slimming. I don't know I just love architecture and loved the structure of the buildings.
West Lafayette Ave
"Not a bad place to throw the old pigskin around...."
If you are looking for a place to have a nice sunday pickup game than this is the street for you. There is a pret nice football field that you can get a game going in. Also the school that its near does not look to bad either. It is a pretty much residential area but seems like a good place.
Cortland Ave
"Just an Industrial area...."
Really not too much to say other than it is an industrial area with lots of factories on it. Sure there are some residential areas but for the most part I traveled near the Industrial areas of Cortland Ave. It could be a good place to look for a job if you need one though.
Massena St
"Very Small but Quiet Street..."
There is not too much to be said for Massena St. My Aunt lives on it and it just a quaint little street and pretty quiet. The neigborhood is not bad and kids can play without little worry. So I would highly recommend this as a place to live if you are looking for a nice place to live. That is if there are any houses for sale that is.
James St
"Not much for well anybody...."
I found James St. to be ok but there just is nothing going on or anything to do on James St. It lacks restaurants, retail, and etc... It is just mostly a street with houses which does not make it terrible because some of the houses are nice but its mostly a boring street.
West Genesee St
"Downtown and thats about it..."
I have to say that this street does not offer much at all. This is just basically a street to take you from one place to the next. Downtown offers nothing for anyone and places to find food are very rare. Best to just get off the beaten path and find something instead of using this street.
Standart St
"Off Campus dream...."
This is not too bad of a street. There is not much that goes on since it is a little off campus and thats the plus about this place is that there is not much distractions going on outside to keep you from keeping up with your studies.
University Pl
"You have now arrived at Syracuse Univesity...."
Basically the university is all that is on this street aside from dorms. Not that its a bad thing though because the University is very beautiful and I loved it on my college visit to the area.
West Jefferson St
"A barflies dream street...."
This is the place to go if you want to get your drink on. This street has several bars ranging from sports, nightclubs, and to just the good ole' pubs. So if you are looking to have a little fun on the weekend than I recommend a visit to W.Jefferson St.
Smith Ave Southeast
"Ok, street to live on.."
While Smith Ave. is not a big street it is also not the worst you could live on in Albuquerque. While it may not be high class it is still a place where I could see raising kid but I would be a little more cautious and lock doors if you know what I mean.
Odelia Rd Northeast
"Do you like sports?"
On Odelia Rd. you will find a very large sports complex that features a Nascar worthy race track, very nice baseball field, and 3 tennis courts. Also right on the other side of the street you will find the Vietnam Veterans Memorial park which has two more baseball fields for you to play baseball in.
Elm St Northeast
"There is no nightmare on this Elm Street...."
Elm Street is located right of highway 25 and is what I like to call the medical street because if features 4 hospitals within one mile of each other. So if you ever get hurt on Elm St. you know that you do not need to worry because you are in very close proximity to the hospitals. Also there is a very beautiful park named Highland park on Elm St. that if you are in the hospital and allowed to go out for awhile would be a nice relaxing experience.
Spruce St Northeast
"University of New Mexico...."
This is the street in which one of my college visits took place on. Most of the street is filled with Dorms and households in which students from UNM live in. The best thing about it is that it is within walking distance of the school so you do not have to be on a rush to classes. I did not end up choosing UNM but the campus is very beautiful and is a top notch school.
Central Ave Northwest
"Not much too look at...."
There is not too much to look at on Central Ave but its historic value is pretty significant since it is a part of RT. 66, this was the very first road I arrived on during my visit to Albuquerque and the best thing about it is that if you are looking to travel by train than Amtrak is very close by.
10th St Southwest
"Welcome to the Jungle...."
On 10th street you will find the Rio Grande Zoo which to my surprise was very nice. I am from Ohio and we have one of the best Zoo's in the country but this zoo is right up there with the Columbus Zoo. Maybe its how well kept the zoo is or just that it is utterly a beautiful place to go but I enjoyed my visit to the zoo while on my trip to New Mexico.
4th St Southwest
"Downtown to play around...."
4th street is located in Downtown Albuquerque and features several nightclubs, restaurants, and very lush shopping oppurtunities. It is very easy to make a day of it and take a nice stroll downtown.
South Wolf Creek Pike
"Halloween Lovers Dream...."
W. Main St. in Dayton, OH. Is known as the Halloween Mecca of Ohio. The entire street is filled with stores related to Halloween. Foy's owns over 6 stores on the street and is open year round for those who just cannot handle Halloween just being once a year. Around Halloween they open up 2 haunted houses on the street that are free to enter. Also if you are a comic book or movie fan there is also the specialty store Bookery Fantasy that is sure to appease your needs.
Rural Ln
"Sinfully sweet street...."
If you enjoy clubbing, bar hopping, adult entertainment and many other things that are devishly sinful then I recommend a trip to N.Dixie Dr. Here you will find all kinds of fun things to sink your teeth into.
East 5th St
"A place to party...."
Are you bored this weekend or bored on a visit to Dayton well than look no further then E. 5th St. Dayton, OH. Also known as the Oregon District. Not only is this the most happening place in Dayton but it features several art boutiques in which an art lover can enjoy. Also the music and culture of this street is very reminiscent of Bourben St. New Oleans. So if you are wanting a good time then make a trip down to the Oregon District.
Shiloh Springs Rd
"Who loves concerts?"
If you make your way into Dayton than be sure to take a stroll down Shiloh Springs Rd. which leads you to the Hara Arena. A basketball stadium and local concert hall which features anything from Rock to Country music. Also once a year there is a Moto-Cross show and a Monster Truck show. There is also several swap meets that you can enjoy each year.
Colonel Glenn Hwy
"Home of the worlds largest Air Force Base...."
Colonel Glen Highway rest alongside one of the worlds largest Air Force bases. Not only is this base a spectacle to see on your own but it also features the worlds largest aviation museum. You can see the birth of flight right before your eyes and relive the history of flight. For any aviation enthusiast or just a famuly wanting something fun and exciting to do on a weekend this is a sure place to provide a thrill.
North Patterson Blvd
"A baseball fans dream...."
Located at 220 N. Patterson Blvd. is the amazing Fifth Third Field which is home to Cincinatti Reds Farm team the Dayton Dragons. The stadium is beautiful and rest along side the Miami river. If you are a baseball fan than you will surely want to visit N. Patterson Blvd. on your trip to Dayton, OH.
Fairfield Commons Dr
"Do you love to shop?"
Well than Fairfield Commons Blvd. is your place to go in Dayton, OH. Featuring a very nice 2-story mall complete with all the normal stores and more. Plus several very close shopping centers in which to do more shopping. The street also features a wide variety of restaurants and a very nice movie theatre.
