"Feel at home"

My friend took me with her to do her regular grocery shopping. That’s when I landed on the Olvera street. I had seen such a local area before but the variety of vegetable, fruits and fish was just out of the content I thought. Later we went to the freeways of this street. Pleasant experience is the only thing I can say. The monuments, landmarks and historical sights offer an memorable view. One of the things I can remember is the Sundial on the street pavement which was installed on a concrete seat. La Anita Restaurant is the right place if your bellies feel starved.

"Absolute Hollywood experience"

This is the place where any ordinary would feel like a celebrity after stepping in here. After getting out of the cab, first magnificent piece of structural architecture that struck my eyes was the Kodak theater. The street is from beginning to end covered with huge developments, from theaters to fashion studios. Some of the landmarks here including the above are the Hollywood Wax museum and the Hollywood sign. After watching the view many times in movies, I finally could see it live. The memory is just unforgettable.

"Lovely stuff serving restaurants"

Once you move ahead of Harlow avenue, you land onto the South Beverly drive. On its journey it intersects with many other streets, one among them is Wilshire boulevard. It is like any other residential areas in the States, spacious houses and small neighborhoods. Restaurants are plenty in number serving appetizing gourmet meals while on the other side fashion outlets have sell multi collection of wearable brands at an affordable cost.

"Lively commercial neighborhood"

Many streets in Los Angeles are links to other important thoroughfares. One of them is the Centinela avenue. It is among the most important street in Los Angeles. The street is mostly populated with commercial and government offices. On this street you will come across schools, animal hospital, bars, clubs and retail outlets. If I ever get a chance to be back on Centinela avenue, I would never miss to go to Numero Uno Pizza. The pizzeria is excellent and I loved their Dinner salad with Chicken tenders. Just appetizing.

"Inexpensive shopping and dining"

Los Angeles convention center is an important and renowned building on Figueroa street. It serves to be a pleasant shopping and dining experience with plenty of restaurants, bars and shopping stops. Being there just for four days, I tasted delicacies in many restaurants out of which I preffered the Sizzler restaurant. It was absolutely fantastic. The food, service and ambience was lovely, especially the beef steaks. Bus is the cheapest and the easiest mode of transport that you can get here. I found travelling much easier because of the travel guide that I had bought from a book store near my lodge.

"Get as many brands you want"

Rodeo drive is the next high end shopping area after Beverly hills. But no cash or credit cards are required to walk across the street. The street is very beautiful and it actually looks like a film city set. Even the lamp posts stand upright and neat without any damage or rust. Many brands and boutiques are located here, to mention some are Prada, Cartier, Roberto Cavalli, Chanel and it just keeps going on. Not more then Beverly hills, you can also spot some popular TV stars and famous personalities enjoying their shopping spree here.

"Beautiful and enchanting"

The street is so nice and enchanting, I feel like staying here for long. I just cant get words to describe how the place is, all I can say is “you never feel like going back”. The best part of this street are its mansions and houses which are spacious and huge. I stayed as a paying guest for few days more than a month. There is greenery in every residential area and where the market area is concerned, purely concrete. Only buildings and stores can be seen. The street is clear without heavy traffic. The Dodger stadium is just a short drive from this street.

"Easiy to access"

Olympic Boulevard is a major commercial hub in Los Angeles. You can easily access the street for the reason there being mannered and easy traffic. Street is not at all noisy even in the presence of material stores and public buildings. I was actually trying to spot a celeb on Beverly hills and finally lost my way and landed up here. The very fact the street being uncrowded helped my friend find me at Mc Donalds. The street was really sought of a home street with plenty of residential houses and apartments. Small groceries, stores and high schools are located here.

"Filled with fun and frolic"

The name of Wilshire boulevard in itself sounds cool and happening to the ears. It is actually more than that. Originally named after Henry Wilshire, it is almost the largest street in Los Angeles. The street is dresses in skyscrapers with a thin drapery of grass and natural foliage. There is fun and frolic at every nook and corner of the street with boredom no where to be seen or felt. Although few, but recognizable landmarks like Pan Pacific park and Hammer museum capture eyes of visitors and locals here. Homes and apartments are par excellence both in style and price. Sleek, stylish and affordable. Wilshire boulevard is like a little metro in Los Angeles. I did no shopping, no food. All I enjoyed was the lively scenes of Wilshire Boulevard.
