"Commercial and Residential Thrown Together"
There is really nothing much to this street. It covers two blocks. Most of what is on one block are mainly small business establishments. The rest are apartment buildings.
There really is not much else to see. I would not recommend this area as it is mostly commercial.
On the other hand, if you really are looking for excitement and a place to relax, you might want to go across the street on Broadway. This is were W. 251st Street ends. On the other side of Broadway is Old Putnam Trail. It also has a large baseball field. So you might want to check it out.
