Are there any summer Shakespeare performances in the Hudson Valley?

Oh yeah! There is the amazing annual Hudson RIver Shakespeare Festival held on the remarkable grounds of the 19th Century Boscobel estate located in Garrison, NY. It is the resident Shakespeare company in the region and has been going strong for a quarter of a century. The grounds are a breathtaking setting with the Hudson River as a glorious backdrop to these really outstanding pieces of theatre. This year they will be performing Love's Labour's Lost and Romeo and Juliet. You can even order a gourmet picnic with wine beforehand!

Thanks Anjanette for the wonderful plug! I think you meant The Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival, I work for the PR company that handles them and just thought I would send you both the link to show times! and yes the back drop and picnic possibilities make it a great place to visit!
