Try Moonshadows in Malibu. It is situated on the ocean. The food is great but kind of pricey. On some days you can see dolphins outside the restaurant window. Or even celebrities such as Britney Spears and Sting.

I like Harvest on Hudson located in Hastings on Hudson across the railroad tracks from the train station. The restaurant has a roaring fire in the winter. In the summer, you can sit outside or inside, and gaze at the Hudson River, and enjoy drinks and appetizers or a meal. If you enjoy watching boats sail along while holding hands with that someone special, this is a great place to go.

If your significant other is a chocolate lover, enjoy a fine dining atmosphere at the Melting Pot at 30 Mamaroneck Ave, a restaurant famous for its fondue and romantic ambiance, perfect for any special occasion. It has wi-fi, holds events both day and night, and is also just minutes away from the closest train station.

Peter Pratt's Inn in Yorktown. Historic building, wonderful food, welcoming fire.

Blue Hill at Stone Barns is an extraordinary dining experience. It is all farm to table -- with menus that change with what's "in season". There are several tasting menus -- but it would be a totally unique and wonderful evening!!!! Enjoy!

La Panatiere in Rye offers a very special atmosphere and delicious food, clearly feels like an extra special occasion..but one of our favorite spots The Rye Grille proved to be a delightful spot to celebrate our anniversary last week after all with a later reservation after the crowds and a table in front of the fireplace...really fun and in walking distance to home!

In Dobbs Ferry, I love to go to Half Moon. It's right on the water and has one of the best views: you can see south to NYC and north to the Tappan Zee Bridge. The food is good, too.

I love Gina Lee's in Redondo Beach. The food and the service is fabulous. The restaurant is dimly lit and the place is not too loud so you can actually have a conversation. Try the pistachio crustated Mahi-Mahi. Or another fabulous and very romantic spot is Orange Tree Hill in Orange. The views are simply stunning.
