"Not much here for the tourist"

11th Street is just an industrial through street which passes under the Queensboro Bridge and through Queens Plaza. There’s nothing much here unless you're in the market for building supplies or are into touring warehouses. The surrounding area is more of the same, warehouses parking lots and drab gray streets.

hhusted There are sections like you describe and there are sections that are a bit more lively. It depends on where you are on the street. But I do agree with you that the area around the Queensboro Bridge is not a great place to visit. It offers nothing exciting to anyone.

uptowngirl I agree hhusted but there seem to be new condos coming up there and when I ride by in the bus,I have noticed the bright lights of some strip clubs in that industrial wasteland.
