"Fashion Center of the World"

I would call Fashion Ave in NYC the fashion place of the world. It is here that everything that deals with or is associated with fashion can be found. Just take a walk down the Avenue and you will see store after store of fashion clothing. Many stores cell old-fashioned clothes, while there are stores that sell new stuff.

If you like fashion, you will like Fashion Ave. Just bring plenty of cash or your credit card, because you never know when you will find something you like.
Pros
  • Plenty of stores
  • Plenty of restaurants
Cons
  • Too busy at times
  • Too many people at times

"Busy Avenue for Busy New Yorkers"

Of all the sections of the city, I would have to say 7th Ave, especially from Penn Station at the corner of W 31st to the end of W 34th St, the street is mostly wall-to-wall people. Traffic is so hard to get through the cops have to patrol the area. And it is very noisy there. The one advantage to consumers is there are a ton of stores to shop at.

If you don't mind the heavy crowds, hunking horns, and the loudness of the people, and you do have deep pockets, it is not a bad area to be, especially at night.
Pros
  • Plenty of stores
  • Plenty of restaurants
  • Plenty of office buildings
Cons
  • Too busy at times
  • Too many people at times
  • Too loud of noise

"Remember to stay in fashion"

Whether you like Fashion Avenue or not will probably depend on how much of a people person you are. I love watching the hustle and bustle of people moving about and the situation of this street gives the prime opportunity to do this. Whether its tourists rushing to the Empire State Building, shoppers going to Macys or average New Yorkers going about their daily business, all kinds of people come by here and the sense of chaos and mess is fantastic if you like unpredictability.

"A great stop on the magical mystery tour"

Anything situated close to Central Park is going to be of value and interest but for music lovers, Seventh Avenue is all about Carnegie Hall. Hailing from Scotland, the legacy of Andrew Carnegie is something to be proud of but the musical history of Carnegie Hall outstrips even his tales. The venue stands as one of the famous landmarks of the Beatles early US career and is a great stop off for anyone wanting a Fab Four tinged look at New York. The building itself is in fantastic condition but it’s the sense of history that really helps Carnegie Hall stand out.

"Fabulous Fashion Ave"

7th Avenue in Manhattan has earned the nickname "Fashion Avenue" for several reasons. Outfitted with a large stone structure of a man at a sewing table, it has been a tourist attraction and a marvel even for those who travel along it daily. The smell of Starbucks roasted ice coffee fills the sweet summer air, as shoppers, sightseers and businessmen and women hustle along to their destinations.

On this lovely strip, several small cafe's stand with their doors wide open ready and willing to accept customers; some of the best food in New York City just beyond the threshold. The street is never quiet, busy with people, but it is always a great place to go if you need something to do; such as shopping or being amused at ordinary people who really believe they are celebrities.Quite the accessible street with many subway stops on almost every corner. Madison Square Garden is on this avenue, and i stop and stare even though I've seen it about a dozen times.

And of course...there is the fashion. 7th avenue is infamous for it's incredible stores and boutiques, hence the name. But it's not only about the stores; it's about the people. The vibe that one gets once they walk onto the avenue. Its an incredible place to visit, to feel good, and revisit.

"Seventh is Home to Loehmann's. What Else Matters?"

Whenever I go to New York City, I make at least one trip up to the Bronx, and it's not for the Yankees! Instead, I have to make my pilgrimmage to Loehmann's, the oldest and coolest discount fashion store in New York, America... or maybe even the whole world. It's a real part of New York's history and cool-factor.

The Bronx isn't the sexiest part of New York, but between Loehmann's and the other big stores on Seventh Ave, I can always have fun here. Every time I come to this street, I end up with a big bag from the Back Room.

"A Busy living"

This place is quite a busy place to live in mainly because of the Rockefeller Center . The area around is quiet commercial since you can find all sortta dine in , shops, plays and many more here.
When i went there it was tooo crowdy that i hardly could enjoy. I should have taken some advice before going there and someone forgot to mention to me that it's way too crowded to be enjoyable

"Lucky Number Seventh"

How could I give Lucky Number Seventh Street anything but five stars? This is a busy little area, but it is so worth while to visit. It is close to the Rockefeller Center, which is a must if you are a tourist. It also has tons of little clothing and garment shops shattered about the length of it. Also, it would be a great place for any aspiring fashion designer to set up their home base.

"The New and Relocated New York City Flea Market"

For many years New Yorkers have been lucky to be able to shop at a wide variety of Flea Markets. The eclectic population of Manhattan makes it likely you'll find nearly anything at a Manhattan Flean Market. In my opinion the best Flea Market in New York is located along W. 39th Street between 9th and 10th Ave. The Flea Market Operates year round on Saturday and Sundays from 6:30 Am til 6:00 Pm. This is a great flea market you'll be pleasently surprised.

"Don't miss this street if you are a Tourist"

7th Avenue is the heart of NYC. It's one of the most "alive" streets I have visited worldwide, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the great city of New York.
