Cold Weather Survival Guide

Time Out New York put together a Cold Weather Survival Guide here:

http://newyork.timeout.com/articles/own-this-city/83234/cold-weather-survival-guide

What do we, experts that we are, think of it?

I like the sledding and drinking suggestions, myself.

It's a nice guide, but unfortunately all of the suggestions for Things to Do Indoors still require me to get myself out of the apartment, something for which I lately lack the motivation.

It's currently that stage of the New York winter where I find myself loath to leave the house at all, too. And it is pretty tedious to think that all the things to do indoors require actually leaving my big warm apartment.

I actually went to the Antiques Garage Flea Market the weekend before Valentine's and didn't find it that awesome. It's had better weeks, for sure. But I guess it's likely that a lot of vendors are just as keen to stay indoors as I am.

Definitely could use a "marathon breakfast" at Balthazar. Wonder how long it will take to get a reservation...
