"Law & Order" to Train New Yorkers for Film and TV Production Jobs

It seems that the people of "Law & Order" are not just actors, but they also help the community.

Mayor Bloomberg in cooperation with Anthony Anderson of "Law & Order" are going launching a program to help train women, minorities, and New Yorkers struggling to make ends meet, so they can get jobs in film and TV production.

That sounds fantastic - and kudos to Law and Order for helping the city with which it has been so closely associated for so long!

@JenMac I love how struggling New Yorkers are considered along with minorities? I'd say the majority of New Yorkers fit that category and the call is pretty much to everybody who doesn't already have a job in TV.
