"Small street w/big time necessity"

I stayed on this street for approximately two years and it did not change that much. It houses a slightly out of place mall on one corner and a great deal of shops and a convenience store on the other side. It normally has at least one homeless person outside asking for spare change. The neighborhood isn't bad, you will see people walking there dogs. Overall this street services a large number of apartments and usually is pretty quiet except for the weekends

"Only one thing going for it, proximity to the Palmetto"

Like in the title, this street has not much going for it in the specific area I speak of. While it runs through a nice neighborhood, I wouldn't wish a vacation on the street on my worst enemy. It is dead quiet and very few people seem to know about the turn off onto The Palmetto Expressway. US1 is one street you want to avoid in the morning drive, and skirting down the back roads through 98th street is a great way to do that.
