Famous buildings in New York City

New York has some of the most incredible architecture and most recognizable buildings in the world. Here's my take on what we have, I will look to add photos at a later date.

1. Empire State Building - 350 5th Ave, New York, NY. Built in 1931.
2. Chrysler Building - 405 Lexington Ave, New York, NY. Built in 1931.
3. GE Building - 30 Rockefeller Plaza, New York, NY. Built in 1933.
4. MetLife Building - 200 Park Avenue, New York, NY. Built in 1963
5. Citigroup Center – at 153 East 53rd Street, New York, NY. Built in 1977.
6. Woolworth Building - 233 Broadway, New York, NY, USA. Built in 1913.
7. Flatiron Building - 175 Fifth Avenue, New York, NY. Built in 1902
8. The Bryant Park Hotel – 40 W 40th St, New York, NY. Built in 1924
9. The Trump Building – 40 Wall St, New York, NY. Built in 1930.
10. The Puck Building - 295-307 Lafayette Street, New York, NY. Built in 1893.
11. New York Public Library - 476 5th Ave, New York, NY. Built in 1911.
12. 1 Times Square – 1 Times Square, New York, NY. Built in 1905
13. Trump Tower - 725 5th Ave, New York, NY. Built in 1983
14. Grand Central Terminal - 89 E. 42nd Street, New York, NY. Built in 1913.
15. Condé Nast Building – 4 Times Square, New York, NY. Built in 2000.
16. Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum - 1071 5th Ave, New York, NY. Built in 1959.
17. Macy's Store - 151 W 34th St, New York, NY. Built in 1902.
18. Plaza Hotel - 768 5th Ave, New York. Built in 1907
19. United Nations Building - 777 United Nations Plaza, New York, NY. Built in 1952.
20. American International Building – 70 Pine Street, New York, NY. Built in 1932.
21. Singer Building – at Liberty Street and Broadway, New York, NY. Built in 1908.
22. Trump World Tower – 845 United Nations Plaza, New York, NY. Built 2001.
23. Waldorf Astoria - 301 Park Avenue, New York, NY. Built in 1893.
24. Sony Building - 550 Madison Avenue, New York, NY. Built in 1984.
25. Bank of America Tower – located on 6th Avenue, between 42nd and 43rd Street. Built in 2009.
26. Time Warner Building - 300 West 57th Street, New York, NY. Built in 2000.
27. Bloomberg Tower – 731 Lexington Ave, New York, NY. Built in 2005.
28. Four Seasons Hotel – 110 E 59th St, New York, NY‎. Built in 1993.
29. Metropolitan Life Tower - 1 Madison Ave, New York, NY. Built in 1909

Yes, having a map to go with the list let's you see things visually. Uraniumfish, I knew about the ground because I studied NYC history. You'd be surprised what NYC looked like centuries ago before it became an actual city.

Are there any great lists of fountains/ parks anywhere? Kind of a weird request, but I'm scoping for a novel I'm writing, and I'm really looking for a great out-of-the-way fountain or something...

There are also random other lists. "Vintage Barrooms" and "Architecture near 53rd street" are just two I've done, but there's a bunch more...

Can't think of anything specifically on fountains, but who knows.
