My friend had a roommate who had the habit of leaving his post-coital, dirty sheets on their dining room table. She was not pleased, dare I say...

@ajadedidealist Wow, how does one even go from there to there?

I had a roommate that was constantly knocking on my door to tell me nothing. Or, really she would want to keep me updated on her thoughts, which I had little to no interest in. She would often want to update me while I was sleeping. Also, she had a brilliant habit of not cleaning the dishes she'd used until weeks later.

I have endless gripes about the current roommate. Endless! I don't even know where to begin. Like, could you please not come home at 6am and watch a movie really loud outside my bedroom door? Or could you please shower at least once this week? Or do you think you could throw away the boxes of food that have been sitting in the pantry for YEARS.

My good friend has no hygiene to speak of. He had to crash at my place a month ago and my apartment smelled like his feet for a cool two days. He has a roommate! I cannot imagine living with the grossest person alive . . but, I guess people do what they have to.
Ajadedidealist: that's one of the foulest things I've ever heard.

@JenMac Does it seem like there are more couch crashers in NYC than anywhere else? We had one of those once, and I was always waking her up because she went to bed at like 9pm.
