I still have trouble imagining I'm going to walk into this place and order food, even if it is supposed to be delicious. When you're with friends and say, "Oh, yeah, I could really go for some...Pies-N-Thighs?" See what I mean?
Somebody didn't take a marketing class before they came up with the name, is what I'm thinking?

@DBlack: When I was in marketing class, I learned so much about branding. The instructor told us that to be really unique, you need to come up with something outrageous and unique, that someone can remember. That name Pies-N-Thighs is unusual, which makes it work. It is so strange that you will recall it quickly.

@DBlack it sounds weird and oddly provocative (!!) just the ingredients needed to generate the all important NYC hype.Of course it helps that it has good reviews as well..

Hehe, it sounds like it should be the title of a Blaxploitation film. . . Pam Grier starring!

Not as bad as a pan-Pacific restaurant I saw called "Ring of Fire". That one didn't last very long.

Ha... it didn't even occur to me that the thighs in pies-n-thighs would be something you eat - I just thought they were referring to where that pie I just digested was going to go, and apparently I wasn't the only one with this idea. Obviously not too many women will be frequenting the place.

Awww... the poor restaurant has nearly an entire online forum community dead certain of its demise. Now I kind of want it to succeed.
