Winter Restaurant Week

Its restaurant week time once more- January 25th to February 7th 2010 when NYC's top restaurants will offer their patrons three course prix-fixe lunches( at $24 a pop) and dinners($35 not inclusive of alcohol, tax and gratuity). Check http://www.nycgo.com/restaurantweek for participating restaurants. I have always wanted to have one of these restaurant week dinner/lunch deals but havent really got around to it.. what has been your best restaurant week meal ever?

So far I do not have one, but may make it a point to get started. Finding a great deal with regard to eating is a big thing, especially if you are on a budget.

Thanks for your post uptowngirl.

I want to like restaurant week since I love restaurants - however I often find myself at odds with the prix-fixe menus. What I mean is I often find myself wanting nothing from the prix-fixe menu and wishing that I had gone to some place where I could order whatever I want from the menu and not spend too much money.

If anyone knows of a place with a FANTASTIC prix-fixe menu, I think you need to come clean because it seems such like a difficult thing to find during restaurant week.
