Petaluma Hill Road in Santa Rosa, California runs from Highway 12 in Santa Rosa for many miles down to Rohnert Park. This is a great back road to take if you work in the Rohnert Park or Cotati area. Excellent street to take if the freeway is busy. It is residential in Santa Rosa. Close to the Santa Rosa Marketplace and other area adventures.

Frazier Avenue in Santa Rosa, California has some areas that need to be fixed up. This is a very affordable neighborhood for investors that want to repair and refurbish homes. Great rental neighborhood because it is close to the freeway for commuters. Close to the Santa Rosa Marketplace and the Fairgrounds Golf Course. Within walking distance of the beautiful Martin Luther King Jr. Park.

Treasure Drive in Santa Barbara, California will be your treasure. This is a prime place to live in California. Santa Barbara is an expensive and beautiful suburban community. It is close to Highway 101 and the ocean. Excellent schools and colleges are nearby as well as some of the best hospitals in California. Just minutes from every adventure that you can think of such as hiking or ocean fun.

Diamond Avenue in South San Francisco, California is at the base of Sign Hill Park. This is an awesome neighborhood with large two story homes and well groomed yards and gardens. It is the ultimate in suburban neighborhoods with a large flat street just great for kids riding their bikes and moms pushing strollers. Just minutes from the San Francisco Bay and the freeway. The airport, schools, hospitals and restaurants nearby.

Ferry Point in Alameda, California is home to the permanently berthed USS Hornet air craft carrier and museum. It is open all year long with special parties on holidays such as the 4th of July. The USS Hornet is a great field trip for all ages. It is a little tricky getting onto Alameda Island through downtown Oakland, but once you have arrived it is beautiful.

If you need to get to the shoreline in San Leandro, California, then Neptune Drive is your best bet. Neptune Drive runs along the Oyster Bay Regional Shoreline which has public access. Continue south along Neptune Drive to the marina or go north if you are looking for the Oakland Airport. Excellent water access.

"Columbine Street runs into the City Park Esplanade."

This street is so beautiful when it reaches the City Park Esplanade with the ornate walls and statues. There are tall well established trees and well kept lawns. This neighborhood is very nice at times with lovely single story homes. There are some businesses mixed in. This street is very close to the large and wonderful Denver City Park with its two lakes, Duck Lake and City Park Lake. It is also close to two hospitals, Mercy Medical Center and University of Colorado Hospital. Everything that you need is nearby such as great schools, restaurants, entertainment, golf, parks and shopping.

"Absolutely beautiful residential neighborhood."

This street has large well developed trees, but because the street is so wide it still receives lots of sun. It is such a lovely neighborhood with very nice sidewalks and grass in between the sidewalks and the road. The houses are very well taken care of as well as the yards. With great schools, shopping and hospitals nearby you cannot miss with this neighborhood. The Denver City Park is very close by with the Duck Lake and City Park Lake making it an excellent place to visit. Mercy Medical Center and the University of Colorado Hospital are both very close.

East 16th Avenue crosses many streets and ends at times and then starts up again. In some places it is a very excellent neighborhood and in others not so good. There are places where it is very wide and has large sidewalks. In general I think that it is a good neighborhood with good schools. The houses are old, but most are well kept. It is very close to all of the necessities such as schools, shops, restaurants, entertainment, parks and golf. It is very close to hospitals and the Denver City Park. Kids will love all of the room to roam around.

You can tell by the way they take care of their homes and gardens. It is very close to restaurants, entertainment, shops, hospitals, parks and golf. Cook Street runs from East Colfax Avenue to the large and lush Denver City Park. It then starts up again on the other side of the park and continues for quite some time. It is very lush and green with tall well developed trees. The houses are very cute and well maintained. It is very close to Mercy Medical Center and many other parks. It is very close to every thing that you will need in Denver such as excellent schools, restaurants, shops, entertainment, hospitals and community services. I highly recommend this area for everyone of all walks of life and ages.

Solano Canyon Drive runs directly through Elysian Park next to Dodger Stadium. This is a beautiful park. It is located at the end of Dodger Stadium Park Road and runs up to Elysian Park Drive. This is such a fabulous area and it is so lovely. Elysian Park has a wonderful pond and of course the awesome Dodger Stadium. It is so full of beautiful trees and greenery. This is a great place to explore or take a Sunday drive. It is a little oasis of nature in the hustle bustle of busy Los Angeles. This is a wonderful place for everyone of all walks of life and ages.

Scott Avenue runs from Glendale Boulevard directly into Dodger Stadium. It runs past Barlow Respiratory Hospital and other local necessities. Not only is this street in Elysian Park but it also is very near other parks and lakes such as Echo Lake Park. Every visitor to Los Angeles should visit Dodger Stadium if there is a game or event there. It is a lot of fun. Los Angeles has a lot to offer and this street is located right in the heart of where you want to be to see some of the attractions. Close to great restaurants and shopping.

Elysian Park Drive in Los Angeles is a beautiful street near the famous Dodger Stadium. It is located in Elysian Park which circles the stadium. It will also take you to the Barlow Respiratory Hospital. This is an excellent location and is so beautiful, you will want to stay. Not only is it near Dodger Stadium, but the park also has its own pond. It travels from Academy Road, through the park, along the outside of the park and ends at Lilac Terrace. Everything that you will need in Los Angeles is nearby such as hospitals, great schools, entertainment, restaurants and shopping.

Who wouldn't want to live right a Dodger Stadium and Elysian Park. It is a very narrow street with very little parking and is one way most of the time. It travels from Morton Avenue to the hills of Elysian Park. This is a very beautiful neighborhood and has well established homes, trees and shrubs. This is an excellent neighborhood for baseball fans, you can walk to the park and be entertained and exercise all at the same time. It is very close to the City of Angels Hospital and other parks such as Echo Lake Park. Great schools, shopping, entertainment, and hospitals nearby.

"Wonderful street that takes you through two beautiful parks."

East Washington Avenue runs right between Cashman Field and Lion Memorial Park. It also passes the beautiful Freedom Park. It is desert in some parts and residential in some areas. It will take you all the way from Interstate 15 to the mountains with a beautiful view of the mountains the entire trip. This is a lovely drive to take, especially in the afternoon. Everything that Las Vegas has to offer is nearby including shopping, golf, restaurants, excellent schools and more. It is close to College Park shopping center and Nellis Trails Shopping Center. This road will get you where you are going.

"Large thoroughfare that travels from North to South Las Vegas."

If you need to go across town, then this is a great road to take you there. South Martin Luther King Boulevard travels by many residential neighborhoods. It is within minutes of beautiful parks and golf courses such as Anderson Park and Doolittle Park. There is something for everyone nearby such as great restaurants, shopping, golf, entertainment, gambling, hospitals, excellent schools and wonderful residential neighborhoods. You can get to the North Las Vegas Airport from this road if you cross over on Carey or another short street to the air port. At some points it travels parallel to the convenient interstate 15.

"Almost a mini freeway, but it takes you where you want to go."

North Rancho Drive runs parallel to Highway 95 in some parts and is Highway 95 in other parts in the North and in the South it runs into Interstate 15. It is very close to many beautiful parks such as Cashman Field and Lorenzi Park. It is centrally located within minutes of the North Las Vegas Airport and everything you can possibly need such as restaurants, shopping, golf, good schools, entertainment, hospitals and gambling. I recommend it for all age groups and life styles because it can take you to many amazing places and get you out of your residential neighborhood that runs next to this main artery.

I love this street because it runs right next to Maxey Park with their beautiful lake. It also can take you directly up to the Oak Tree Village Shopping Center. Very close to the Texas Tech University and the University Medical Center. Just about everything you could possibly need is nearby.

I have friends that live in this area and they absolutely love it. This street, Texas Tech Parkway in Lubbock, Texas is very convenient, especially for those that need to go to the University Medical Center or the Texas Tech University. Located off of highway 82. Great for everyone of all ages.

This street takes you conveniently through Texas Tech University and right next to the University Medical Center. Although it may not be very beautiful at times, it is very handy. This road is used a lot and can sometimes be very crowded. The railroad track runs under it at times.

West Avenue A is a very wide street which I really like. It is mostly light industrial. Main Street and the downtown of Garland is just a block away, but also a world away in looks. South Glenbrook Drive has its good point and not so good points. It runs through Central Park and is absolutely beautiful in this area. Then it runs along the railroad tracks up to downtown Garland. It also extends south and runs along the edge of Oden Park. It is a great street to get around on.

It runs from Highway 635 to Turkey Creek and Lake Ray Hubbard. This street is not much to look at in most places. It does cross the lake and has a beautiful view there. It is a major thoroughfare and takes you quite far. It runs through or next to residential neighborhoods, most of them fairly average.

Buena Vista Street is gorgeous and tropical. It is a lovely residential neighborhood with one level ranch style homes. Everyone that lives here can walk easily to Lake Parker. It is lined with full grown trees and lush green lawns. It starts at the Lakeland Regional Medical Center and takes you to the lake.

"Feels like you are driving through a golf course."

This road is so green and lush that it makes you feel like you are driving through a golf course. It is so tropical. Beautiful residential neighborhood with nice sized houses and lots of full grown palm trees. East Camino Real crosses the Boca Raton Lake at one point and continues on to the ocean.

East Palmetto Park Road is in a great neighborhood in Boca Raton. It crosses Lake Boca Raton at one point and continues on to the beach. It is right next to the Boca Raton Resort and Club. It is so green and tropical. Lots of palm trees and large green lawns.

This street is fabulous. North Ocean Boulevard gives you exactly what the name says, the ocean. The beach is sandy and beautiful. This road is very long and extends along the entire coast. The scenery is green and lush, a very tropical feel. You are close to anything that you can possibly want in Boca Raton.

Florida Atlantic Boulevard is absolutely gorgeous. This street will take you into Florida Atlantic University which is very convenient. Florida Atlantic Boulevard is also next to the Boca Raton airport so it is very handy. This street is near everything you need in Florida such as shopping, restaurants, golf, schools, etc.

Wares Ferry Road is a very long road that travels in a U shape around Atlanta Highway. It will take you all the way out to the desolate Kolomi Golf Enterprise Course. There is not much out here, so if you are not going to the golf course you may want to turn around before you are forced to do the entire loop.

This beautiful road drives through the campus of Alabama State University. South University Drive runs west from East University Drive through the heart of the campus and everything that you need including the admittance office and library. This road is beautiful with many homes with large yards and a lot of property. Carter Hill Road starts at Vaughn Road and travels to Norman Bridge Road. It takes you directly to the Alabama State University. This area is convenient to everything you may need including shopping and groceries.

East Henry Street is located in one of the most beautiful places in Savannah. This is called the Victorian District and it is absolutely gorgeous. It is a very long street and there are places where the houses need some maintenance and some places where there are businesses and light industrial.

East State Street is a one way road traveling west from East Broad Street to Montgomery Street. It is a beautiful street with many historic looking red brick buildings and some beige brick buildings. Many beautiful full grown trees and plenty of apartments if you want to live in this area.

West Bay Street is not only very industrial, but it also needs quite a lot of updating. This is one area where you will see a lot of chain link fences and traffic lights dangling from wires stretched across the street. You will want to continue on until you get into downtown Savannah, then turn west to get off of this street.

North Market Street starts out as Highway One and then turns into Highway 71. For a time it is both highways at once. This is a great connector from the north traveling south into downtown Shreveport. It takes your right into the heart of the downtown. There are excellent views at some points.

The Clyde E. Fant Memorial Parkway is perfect for a memorial because it is absolute gorgeous in most places. It follows along the river bank starting at the airport and traveling south for miles. This is a great road to take a Sunday drive, it is also very close to everything that you want to do such as shopping and restaurants.

When you are driving on Spring Street in downtown Shreveport you will think that you are on the freeway. It is elevated most of the time, but when you are on level ground there is not much to look at it is very industrial. It is excellent for getting to across town. This street is centrally located near everything you need such as hospitals, restaurants, schools, shopping and entertainment.

This is a long street that runs from Lake Avenue to Fort Street. At times it is light industrial and kind of run down. It passes through the Martin Luther King, Jr. State Historic Park. It is very well kept in the area of the Historic Site with nice trees, bushes and shrubs.

Techwood Drive passes the Georgia Aquarium, Centennial Olympic Park and drops you off at the Georgia Dome. It is a great location. Most of the street is lined with beautiful curved, antique style lights to light your walk along the sidewalk. It is mostly a business building lined street, but there are areas of large grassy areas.

This is a lovely little neighborhood and is appropriate for all ages. There is a large park that it backs up to called Elmwood Central Park. It is just a zip away from everything that you could possibly need or want and it is very close to the highway, yet far enough away to eliminate any highway noise.

Very clean cut with lots of trees lining this short road. Residential homes on one side and apartment buildings on the other, you can tell that the residents take pride in their homes. Archer Avenue is a very busy thoroughfare that runs from Guy R. Brewer Blvd. all the way down to the Van Wyck Highway 678 Expressway. It is wall to wall industrial buildings and businesses. Run down in some areas. If you work in this area it is very close to restaurants, shopping and entertainment.

89th Avenue is conveniently located next to the Mary Immaculate Hospital and the beautiful and large King Park. There are many large red brick buildings that line the street. It is quite busy in this area. Farther down there are also a lot of residential houses and apartments. Definitely close to everything you need such as grocery stores and restaurants.

Beautiful red brick apartment buildings line this street in downtown Manhattan. Excellent shopping and restaurants, plus whatever else you can think of. "Right next to the famous 42nd Street and all the excitement of The City."

Excellent views of all the traditional downtown high rises. It is thrilling to drive in this area and also very slow because of the heavy traffic. Just one street over from the famous 42nd Street, so if you are driving around you may find yourself on this street a lot. It is close to the Lincoln Tunnel and not too far from Central Park. I can't even begin to list everything that is nearby, but you will not have any trouble finding what you need.

"Scenic Drive along the waters edge."

Henry Hudson Parkway starts at 57th Street and runs along the waters edge all the way up to Van Cortlandt Park. At times it is wall to wall light industrial, and at other times it has a great view of the water. This is a large thoroughfare that is meant to take you a long way. You can get to where you are going quickly using this route.

East Drive generally follows along the east side of Central Park, sometimes towards the middle and sometimes on the edge. It then makes a u-turn and turns into West Drive to come back along the other side. It goes directly next to the Jackie O Reservoir. It is an absolutely beautiful tree lined drive.

Mostly low rise buildings and stores line this convenient boulevard. W. North Boulevard starts at Lake Michigan and runs along the park along the edge of the downtown. It is beautiful close to the lake and downtown and it gradually becomes more industrial. It eventually turns into Route 64 and takes you all the way across Chicago.

This entire neighborhood near the lake is a fabulous place to work. Just a few steps to the lake or lunch as your favorite restaurant. I don't know if I could get any work done. N. State Parkway runs from Elm St. directly through the center of downtown Chicago to the park. It is made up of mostly high rise office buildings.

W. Burton Place will take you all they way down to the lake. The street is made up of mostly business buildings and some apartments. I love it because it is so close to the lake. Dock Avenue is very useful if you work in the area. Of course it is the entrance to all the docks which do have the redeeming quality of being directly on the waterfront. Gold Street leads down into the manufacturing plants by the waterfront. The other end of gold is just a thoroughfare taking you down to the manufacturing plants, but there is a lot of parking along Gold Street if you need it. Of course, since this is Brooklyn, you will always have anything you want within blocks.

Marshall Street is a heavy industrial street. There is not any reason for you to come here ever in your lifetime, unless of course you work at one of the plants here. Furman Street is not going to win a beauty pageant. It runs parallel with highway 278, but it is an excellent shortcut when traffic is heavy. It runs all the way from the Brooklyn Bridge to Atlantic Avenue. Also, it is close to everything you want to do in Brooklyn, so overall it is not so bad.

It brings you into the heart of Philly and then runs right next to the beautiful Independence National State Historic Park and everything you want from downtown. Although you are still in the downtown, this is mostly a nice residential area. There is no parking here and it is mostly the back or garages of the residences. That being said, it is still an attractive street to take a stroll along. All brick homes as is traditional here.

Cypress Street is in the locale of where you want to be in Philly, but not exactly where you want to be in Philly. There is no parking on Cypress because it is very narrow. It is a great shortcut by the University of the Arts, you may find yourself walking down this street and not even realizing it, on your way to your car.

Panama Street is quiet compared to Lombard and Pine, the traffic is lower. Every where you look is beautiful red brick. The location is awesome just minutes from Rittenhouse Square and Graduate Hospital. Just to warn you, it is a one way street traveling east between S. 18th St. and S. 20th St.

S. Carlisle Street starts out at The University of the Arts and travels one way away from it. Beautiful red brick buildings as far as the eye can see. The street is cut off many times through the city, but starts up again. It is mostly brick residential brownstones that move down in quality as you get farther away from The University of the Arts.

"Great shortcut, no vibe."

Ranstead Street is a link between 15th and 16th Streets. So, if you need a shortcut, this is it. There is not much to look at you are squished between two high rises, but you cannot beat the location. One direction you are at Two Liberty Place, the other direction you are at City Hall. Of course it is directly in the downtown of Philly, so you have excellent restaurant, entertainment and anything you need in every direction.

Jefferson Place is a quaint little neighborhood hidden in the middle of plain site. It is very quiet and is conveniently located within walking distance of Crotona Park and The Bronx Lebanon Hospital. This one way street is located between Franklin Avenue and Boston Road. It has a very clean cut look, making it a nice place for everyone of all ages.

Not the best neighborhood, but if it is what you can afford then it is home. There are some industrial buildings mixed in with apartment buildings. All are very old and eventuall will be called historic when they are fixed up and someone cleans up the old cars in the vacant lot. E. 164th Street is located between Brook Avenue and Cauldwell Avenue and makes a great shortcut.

Rae Street is located off of St. Anns Avenue (don't let the name fool you, it is scary here). The area has a lot of old brown brick buildings which is nice, however across the street is light industrial. Not a place where you would want your kids to play. Conveniently located near St. Francis Hospital and even closer to the large St. Marys Park.

This tiny dead end street located off of Morris Avenue, has a vacant lot with chain link fence that scares me. On the brighter side, it is lined with old style brick buildings which I love. There is a nice hair salon on the corner. It is within walking distance of the Concourse Plaza and the one and only Yankee Stadium.

Tudor Place is wall to wall apartments. They are beautiful red brick buildings. This street is used mostly by residents only. Parking is tight here. I would not suggest parking here unless you are a resident. There are beautiful seasonal trees which makes it picturesque compared to other similar streets.

It is a little scary in this neighborhood. The street is mostly light industrial buildings with a lot of graffiti. On the bright side it is close to the Lincoln Medical Mental Health Centers which is probably needed by any of this streets residents. It is also adjacent to the Madison Avenue bridge so that you can get out of town fast.

Slightly farther from the downtown but closer to the Space Needle, Wall Street boasts all of the conveniences of being close to downtown with less traffic. Blanchard Street runs from Elliot Avenue all the way to Westlake Avenue and is speckled with beautiful seasonal trees and apartment buildings. Excellent location for fine dining and bar hopping. The Ramada is centrally located on Blanchard amongst the beautiful and historic red brick buildings. Just minutes from downtown and all of the trendy coffee houses.

If you are staying in the downtown you will most likely end up on Virginia Street at some point. I gave this street four stars because of the excitement you feel as you get close to the ferry. It is so much fun to take a ferry across the bay to visit Bainbridge, Bremerton, and Vashon Islands. Western Avenue runs along the bay but not directly on the bay. It has a convenient bike line, which is necessary around here. The street is lined with many beautifully crafted apartments and buildings. Most have restaurants or walk up stores on the lower level. Rusk Street runs through downtown Houston one way from northwest to southeast. It has a wonderful old town feel with its large buildings made from old style stone and brick. Conveniently located next to Tranquility Park and all of the awesome restaurants of downtown. There is also a Rusk Street in the outskirts of town which is a quaint residential neighborhood. Downtown Rusk Street does not directly link to the residential Rusk Street it is divided up many times by railroad tracks, etc.

"Zips you directly to the downtown with a better view than the highway."

Allen Parkway takes you from the outskirts to downtown Houston. It is a major thoroughfare for residents to reach the downtown. It runs next to Sabine Park and Sam Houston Park to drop you off in downtown Houston. It has a beautiful view of the park all the way to town. It is close to many parks, hospitals and shopping.

Fannin Street is a one way running from northeast to southwest in the heart of Houston. High rises surround this busy downtown street. Everything you need is at your finger tips including shopping, restuarants and entertainment. Just minutes from Minute Maid Park and the St. Joseph Medical Center, plus highway access in either direction.

"Awesome location next to Minute Maid Park."

Congress Street is located in the historic downtown of Houston next to Minute Maid Park. It travels one way, north up to Franklin Street. Beautiful buildings surround the area, housing businesses, restuarants, coffee shops and theatres. I gave it four stars for the convenience of running south to north through the downtown.

"Not very easy on the eyes, shops and light industrial."

Webster Street starts at W. Gray Street on the outskirts of downtown Houston, travels south one way and then gets cut off at Highway 59. It starts back up on the other side of 59. It is filled with storefronts and light industrial buildings. It is conveniently located within two minutes of St. Joseph Medical Center.

"Green, lush and beautiful, tropical looking street."

W. Fairview Drive is located off of S. Bayshore Drive in the up town Miami Neighborhood of Coconut Grove. It connects to E. Fairview Drive to make a loop from S. Bayshore Drive. A water inlet flows through the street for access for boaters. Large pricey homes line this street with green, lush, tropical trees and plants. Conveniently located near all necessities including the highway and Mercy Hospital.

"Gorgeous Miami neighborhood with water access."

E. Fairview Street is part of a loop with W.Fairview Street that links S. Bayshore Drive. E.Fairview has a water inlet for boaters and seafaring visitors. Large upscale homes line this street filled with lush flora and fauna. It is conveniently located near the highway, restaurants, Mercy Hospital, the ocean and part of Coconut Grove.

"Ocean front homes line this elite Coconut Grove lane."

S. Bayshore Lane is located off of Fair Isle St. in the upscale Miami neighborhood known as Coconut Grove. Many of the large homes on this street have docks or ocean access. The neighborhood is fully grown with lush tropical trees and plants. There are many conveniences nearby including highway access, restaurants, shops, and Mercy Hospital.
